Family Friendly 50

WakeMed Health & Hospitals has been named one of the top 50 family-friendly companies in North Carolina by Carolina Parenting Inc., the parent company of Carolina Parent magazine.  WakeMed has proudly received this recognition for several years running for creating and fostering a family-friendly work culture

Organizations selected for this award show a commitment to family and a healthy work-life balance, supporting families and working parents.  WakeMed offers family-oriented health benefits, paid maternity and paternity leave, child care benefits, tuition reimbursement, family support, work-life training and much more to help employees balance their work life with their life at home. 

WakeMed's family-friendly culture and benefits also includes flexible shifts for employees to choose the work schedule that best suits them and their family's needs.  Options include flextime, part-time or three-quarter time work and job sharing, just to name a few.
