Ministerial Visitation
The completed application, including certification, should be turned in at the WakeMed Visitor's Information Desk in the main lobby of the hospital or mailed to the following address: Department of Spiritual Care, 3000 New Bern Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27610
Please call the Spritual Care department at 919-350-8556 if you have any questions. You will receive a letter from the department once your application has been approved or not approved. We appreciate your patience as this process may take a few weeks. Please feel free to stop by the Spiritual Care office on the 4th floor of the Medical Office Building (adjoined to the main hospital) to check the status of your application if you did not receive a letter.
Enclosed with your letter with be a Clergy ID Authorization form that you will take with you to the Public Safety Office to have you Clergy ID Badge made. ID Badges are made Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Public Safety Office, located in the front of the main hospital.
*Even if you have been approved and once you have received your WakeMed issued Clergy Badge, you will be required to have your badge with you in order to get your parking pass stamped by the front desk receptionist. Without your badge, even if you have been approved, your parking pass will not be stamped.
