WakeMed Children's is the place for the highest quality, comprehensive pediatric care in Wake County. For nearly 50 years, we've embraced the children of this community, helping them heal and enhancing their overall health.

In 2010, we opened a new home for WakeMed Children's.  WakeMed Children's Hospital unites pediatric specialists, and the specialized services they offer, under one roof to ensure area families have access to the care they need and deserve. 

Plus, our pediatric specialties continue to expand and currently include surgery, diabetes, endocrinology, urology, endocrinology, radiology, pediatric intensive care, emergency medicine, ear, nose and throat, orthopaedics, neurology, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, cardiology, neonatology, rehabilitation, infectious disease, psychiatry and psychology.  These pediatric services also reach into our other facilities where staff are skilled in caring for children of all ages.
