WakeMed currently has two locations in the Brier Creek area. This facility is the Emergency Department. The WakeMed Medical Park, on Cerny Street, offers physician offices and imaging services.
When you or a loved one needs immediate medical attention, it's a comfort to know that the full-service, WakeMed Brier Creek Healthplex Emergency Department is nearby. Services for children and adults are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The emergency department includes::
- 12 private treatment rooms
- X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound testing
- An ambulance receiving area
- A dedicated patient reception and waiting rooms
WakeMed Brier Creek Healthplex also receives patients by local emergency medical services. Patients who arrive in critical condition can be transported to the facility.

WakeMed Brier Creek Healthplex is located just east of Highway 70 on T.W. Alexander Drive in Raleigh. Surface parking is available next to the building, and patients can be dropped off and picked up under the covered entry via the circular drive.
Hours and Appointments
The emergency department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Outpatient radiology hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Outpatient laboratory services are available from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
