Influenza Update: Employee Mask Requirement Takes Effect
All employees who received a medical exemption from the influenza vaccine are required to wear a surgical mask at all times while at work, regardless of the assigned work area. Impacted employees were notified of this requirement by email. Failure to comply with the mask requirement will result in disciplinary actions. It is anticipated that the requirement may be lifted on March 31; however, this date may be adjusted based on the prevalence of flu cases in the community. With questions, please contact Occupational Health & Safety at 919-350-7370.
