At WakeMed, we have developed strong community partnerships with organizations that have a similar long-standing commitment to their communities and to the people they serve.  Through these partnerships, we are working to improve overall health by:

• Collaborating with partners to respond to health care gaps and unmet needs;
• Promoting and supporting prevention and disease management for children with chronic diseases;
• Increasing preventive health behavior for all ages through screenings, education, services, programs and promotions;
• Developing a workforce of future health care professionals through hands-on learning experiences.
