WakeMed Speakers Bureau

The WakeMed Speakers Bureau is a valuable resource for local civic, business, religious and social organizations.  We provide speakers in response to requests for health-related presentations.

If you are a Corporation or Business and would like to request a speaker, please call WakeMed Corporate & Community Health at 350-2888.  Requests for speakers for Civic /Community Groups should be directed to WakeMed Public Relations at 919-350-8120.

We will need the following information in order to prepare our speaker for his/her presentation:

• Your organization's name and description (civic/business/religious/social)
• The date, time and location of the event (a 30 day notice is required)
• The event theme (if applicable)
• The presentation topic requested (please have a first and second choice)
• A contact person, along with a telephone number and mailing address

A WakeMed representative will contact you to confirm the speaking engagement details. We request a 24-hour notice if your event is cancelled and you no longer need a speaker.
