The WakeMed Cary Hospital Emergency Department, with its multiple treatment bays, minor procedure and triage rooms, and specially trained staff, is one of seven emergency departments in the WakeMed system including one of six Level I Trauma Centers in the state, located at the WakeMed Raleigh Campus.
Southern and western Wake County residents can also access full-service emergency care at WakeMed Apex Healthplex (operated as an extension of Cary Hospital's Emergency Department). The same emergency medicine physicians who care for you and your family at WakeMed Cary Hospital also provide outstanding emergency care 24 hours a day, seven days a week at our Apex location.
