Birth & Parenting Classes

Offered at many locations throughout Wake County, our birth & parenting classes help expectant parents successfully prepare for the arrival of their new baby.  A few of our classes: Baby Steps 1 & 2 Sibling Class & Tour Infant Massage Pets + Babies Newborn Basics Preparation for Cesarean Birth Labor and Birth Education Parent Baby Connection And more!

New Patient Tower Grand Opening Celebration: WakeMed celebrated the opening of new Heart Tower and Wake County's first Children's Hospital on Sunday May 23, 2010.

The McConnell Golf Challenge for the WakeMed Children's Hospital: On June 7, 2010, WakeMed held the first McConnell Golf Challenge for WakeMed Children's Hospital at Raleigh Country Club, to help raise funds for the first and only Children's Hospital in Wake County.

Spring 2010 Fashion Show: Models for Charity and Saks Fifth Avenue teamed up to host a special Spring Fashion Show and Silent Auction on April 15 to help raise money for the new WakeMed Children's Hospital.
