Milk Bank Dispensation

To place an order, call 919-350-8599 option 3, email us at mothersmilkbank@wakemed.org or fax your order to 919-350-8923. Orders must contain a purchase order number, hospital name, shipping address, amount desired and buyer contact information.

Outpatients & Families

Donor milk is available via prescription. Your child’s pediatrician or healthcare provider will prescribe donor milk if medically indicated. Once you have obtained a prescription for donor milk please contact one of our partner pharmacies listed below to have it filled. Please note that at this time all donor milk is self-pay and not covered by Medicaid or private insurance in North Carolina.
