WakeMed Internal Medicine Residency Program

Mission Statement

The mission of the WakeMed Internal Medicine Residency Program is to train compassionate general internists to deliver evidence-based care without regard to the patient's race, gender, sexual orientation, disability status or ability to pay. This is done by providing timely, innovative, excellent and value-based patient care; promoting the health and wellbeing of our community; and translating new knowledge into meaningful improvements in patient health outcomes and safety.
