First visit as a new patient. Dr. Jarvis was very kind and listened to all of our questions and concerns. She was very informative on all the questions my partner and I had about starting the process of having a baby and provided us with lots of great advice. Always great and reassuring to have a provider like this to continue care with.

I was very emotional during the visit due to multiple stressful life events and Dr. Jarvis was incredibly kind and compassionate during our visit. She met me where I was that day, eased my fears, and we developed a plan. I left the appointment feeling like a weight was lifted off my chest. The receptionist and nurse were also very sweet and caring.
I just seriously appreciate my experience that I have every time I attend an appointment with Dr. Jarvis. The ambiance is so peaceful, the staff are incredibly friendly, and Dr. Jarvis is really kind. I have never had a good experience at the OB/GYN. And as a Black Woman, I am already tense about what my experience will be like in ANY medical facility. But all of those worries are always put aside specifically within this office. I had peace of mind and assurance since my very first visit.

My child was very nervous about her first visit with a gynecologist and has a lot of distrust of adults and strangers in general. Dr. Jarvis was perfect. She made my child feel listened to and comfortable. She walked her through the process and didn't do anything without forwarning and consent. I deeply appreciate the care taken in building trust and not talking down to her.
Honestly, the major highlight was not feeling rushed but rather feeling heard and seen. Oftentimes appointments in healthcare one can spend more time waiting and less time being seen and then feeling rushed when you do see a physician. While this practice still haunts me, my anxiety was quelled once I realized that everyone was there to support me in finding a conclusive diagnosis to bring clarity to a 6 year long mystery even with previous physician oversight and inquiry within Wake; I was able to relax

Dr. Jarvis removed my IUD during the visit even though I was scheduled for an annual exam to establish care. She was patient with me while I decided whether to proceed or wait, she explained potential after effects, and she quickly performed the procedure with very minimal pain. Thank you!
