About Me

Dr. J. Richard Daw is an expert cardiologist who will see patients in the Cary office of WakeMed Heart & Vascular. He is dedicated to providing a broad range of cardiovascular services that include the latest in non-invasive cardiac, peripheral, arterial, and venous testing, electrophysiology and cardiac catheterizations, as well as nuclear studies and echocardiograms.

He earned his medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from North Carolina State University.

Prior to joining WakeMed Heart & Vascular, Dr. Daw practiced with Wake Heart and Vascular Associates since 1995.

He holds certification in advanced cardiac life support. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology.
