At WakeMed, we use a variety of respiratory service tests to measure breathing and lung functioning. Our team of exceptional, highly skills respiratory therapists and pulmonologists take pride in providing fast results for the convenience and accessibility of our patients and referring physicians.

• Bronchodilator Study (spirometry with pre & post bronchodilator)
• Complete PFT/Bronchodilator (complete PFT with spirometry pre & post bronchodilator)
• Complete PFT (spirometry, lung volumes, and Diffusing Capacity of the Lung for Carbon Monoxide (DLCO)
• Simple Spirometry
• Six-minute Walk Tests

Because the service is not hospital-based, patients may save money on out-of-pocket costs associated with hospital facility fees.
