This tool provides real-time, secure Internet access to patient information and physician schedules. Use it to view and print patient clinical data as well as communicate with WakeMed physicians and practices.
WakeMed CareLink facilitates the following:
- Making a referral, placing a radiology order and tracking the progress of your requests
- Viewing patients’ medical records within our EMR system, including visit summaries, progress notes and results
- Monitoring and receiving alerts about patient care at WakeMed.
We look forward to working with referring providers and their staff. If you are a practice or provider and would like to receive more information, please fill out the form below and our representative will be in contact with you as soon as possible.
Hyperdrive is a great option for practices and providers who perform surgical cases at one of our many locations. Request Epic Hyperdrive access.
Please be aware that all orders placed by an RN or APP will not require a second sign by the physician, however, all orders placed by staff that are not an RN or APP will require a second signature for the orders to be active. This means that the physician will need to access their Epic In Basket to review and sign each case request.
Steps for EPIC Hyperdrive access:
- Please have each user requesting access complete this link in its entirety.
- Please know that it can take up to two weeks to receive your username, which is required for access and training.
- Once access is granted, we can set up EPIC training by our Education Team (if needed) or training can be completed internally by your own team.
