I love how Dr. Payne takes his time and genuinely cares for his patients.
Dr Payne moved to this location a couple of years ago where I met him at an office much closer to my home. He cares; he’s sincere; he’s the real deal. So I travel 45 minutes to Holly Springs so he can continue to be my primary care doctor.
Dr. Payne is the best doctor I have ever had! He is very cordial, respective, patient, a very good listener, understanding and very attentive. The entire Holly Springs group of nurses and office support are also very pleasant, helpful and accommodating.
Dr. Payne is always attentive to anything that is going on with my overall health.
I never feel rushed and Dr Payne always explains everything and listens to everything said

Dr Payne is patient, compassionate and makes me feel like the focus of his attention when I am there.
The back/forth question and answer and attention to detail in mychart is abysmal. Only some questions answered, long wait times when the nurse asks a question (despite immediate response). Get better service for those boxes.

I have been very pleased with Wake Med practice it’s very convenient and staff is great. Dr Payne is genuine he truly cares, I feel I have a great relationship with him and always positive.
This was a new patient visit as I was looking for a new PCP closer to home. I was thoroughly satisfied with my visit and discussion with Dr. Payne and look forward to having him as my PCP. He recommended a follow-up physical in 6 months which I have scheduled.
My entire appointment process was very timely and organized. I arrived 10 minutes prior to appt time, I was take on time and then sent over to the lab with minimal wait. In addition to the very fine care that I was given, I also greatly appreciate the efficiency of your operation.

The fact that the doctor was not dismissing my concerns and explained exactly what my problem was in layman's terms.
Dr did all blood tests I asked him to. I was just surprised no ekg. All my drs in my did them as a check up visit. And I had to ask to have my throat looked at just precaution for myself. Otherwise I like him very much I already recommended him to my chiropractor

He is willing to adjust on the fly based on my feedback and I always feel like we have the best handle possible on my complex health issues. Never makes me feel like I'm being "handled" but also won't hesitate to tell me he disagrees with me if he does. Unusually great communicator for a doctor in my experience!
