Dr. Vega and his nurse were relaxed and calm and explained everything in detail. They asked if I had questions. Dr. Vega made sure I understood everything.

Dr. Joshua Vega is a positive light in his practice . He has been there for me since day one when I was diagnosed with heart failure, and also kidney failure, and he has brought me through a lot . He checks into everything. Also, make sure other things are going correct in other areas of my health. And also, I feel comfortable discussing things with him about my health as well. And he listens, and he cares. His light shines bright. WakeMed Heart& vascular cardiology department really needs to be proud of him. He is an asset to their team.

The front seat was nice and pleasant. The nurse was very nice and friendly. Dr. Vega is an excellent doctor. Caring, friendly and respectful to patients. He is really good about explaining things so patient can understand. He is excellent about answering questions. I like a nice friendly doctor who puts you at ease - that is Dr Vega. Check out was pleasant. Wait times were good. I would highly recommend WH&VC Raleigh Campus.

Dr Vega is very caring, explains this well with out talking down to you. I drove 50 min from chapel hill to see him.

The atmosphere in the facility is warm and friendly; not impersonal as others i have visited.
Dr. Vega turned out to be the kind of doctor I like. He read my history before he saw me. Asked my concerns. LISTENED! Medical Assistant whose name may have been Sara was kind and gentle, as was employee who took my blood. I wish I could remember their names. Scheduling woman was very kind and helpful.

I can not say enough about the care I received. My nurses were above great, Kevin and Keith. On Saturday Connor was at my call and always ready to help. There were 2 others, can’t remember names. My doctors as expected were top notch Dr [] and a nurse practitioner Maggie.. I can’t say enough. Dr Vega is the Doctor that started my recovery, can’t say enough about him. Dr Patell should also be mentioned and his office…5 stat! Food was a different story…

Vega took time to listen to and understand exactly what I was saying. I'm pleased with the care that he is given to my case or my treatment. Given that my heart failure has turned around and needs careful watching, I am confident in his decisions. I appreciate that he respects my mind and the fact that I am active in my care and treatment. If it were not for Dr. Vega, I would have probably and move over to the UNC heart team. This would have allowed me to combine all my doctors underneath the UNC umbrella. But it is my preference to stay with Wake and Dr. Vega.

Dr.Vega listened to every concern, and educated me- even showed me a visual of some things w the heart. One on one conversation for more than three minutes was just … well I left the office that day and cried happy tears bc for the first time I felt relief with my heart in someone’s hands. I didn't get the person name but it was a woman. she work at the front desk, This was my first time at WakeMed and my appointment was at 3:00pm but I was told in an email to be there at 2:30pm. So I can in a little before 2:30pm and check in and during my waiting time, the lady can out behind the desk and asked me did I check in and I told her I did and I also told her that I was told to be there by 2:30pm. She was concern about me siting out there so long. I didn't get call by the nurse until after 3:00pm. She was very nice and I thank her for her concern.

Whenever I visit Wake Med, I notice how kind the staff is. Everyone is so attentive and professional. Dr. Vega is a wonderful doctor. He listens to any concerns that I have. I feel free to share with him if I have any concerns and he answers all my questions. I have had bad experiences with doctors making me feel as if I don’t know my own body. When I lived in New Jersey, I had this one Doctor Who made me feel so bad I cried about one hour in the parking lot.
