About Me
Dr. Lori Stiegemeier is a board-certified pediatric primary care physician with clinical interests in breastfeeding and general child growth and development. She earned her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and completed a residency in pediatrics from Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Stiegemeier brings almost a decade of experience to WakeMed after most recently practicing as a primary care pediatrician in Chapel Hill.
Dr. Stiegemeier strives to develop close relationships with her patients and their families based on trust and respect. She loves to guide and support families in any way she can while listening and answering all questions that they might have. Dr. Stiegemeier’s main goal is to make her patients feel heard and supported.
In her free time, Dr. Stiegemeier enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, swimming, and hiking.
