About Me
A long-time physical therapist, Cheryl Bennett thrives on working with complex neurological issues related to stroke and other cerebral-vascular accidents (CVAs), spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, multi-trauma and Guillain-Barre. She is also an outstanding wheelchair seating specialist. Bennett earned for bachelor’s degree in physical therapy at the Medical College of Georgia. She enjoys working with patients and their families to help them recover from a neurological event and return to an optimal level of independence so they can reengage in their lives and pursue activities that are meaningful to them.
In her spare time, Bennett serves on the board of the North Carolina Spinal Cord Injury Association and volunteers at events for people with disabilities.
