Samantha Moyer, PA-C, RN

Samantha Moyer is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in interprofessional education and development, subspecialty of caring for sports injuries, and athlete recovery. She received her master’s in physician assistant studies from Duke University and bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Delaware.

Moyer’s philosophy of care is centered around and informed by the whole person. This approach stems from her time as an inpatient orthopaedic and trauma nurse prior to her medical based PA education. She seeks to know and understand what is important to each patient, as well as the ailment or injury that has led them to be under her care. Samantha hopes that after her patients meet her, anyone from the 16-year-old competitive soccer player and the 60-year-old grandparent who desires to continue keeping up with their grandkids, can achieve their personalized goals. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring the RDU food scene, rock climbing at the local climbing gym, cheering on the NC Courage and the US women's national soccer teams, and chasing around her black lab, Kali.
