About Me
Samantha Freeman is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in using her knowledge in orthopaedics to help people maintain autonomy and comfort in their daily lives. She received her master’s in physician assistant studies from Emory & Henry College in Marion, Virginia, and undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Freeman is professionally fluent in Spanish as her second language and has experience working in a bilingual clinic.
Freeman firmly believes in collaborative care and education. Her most rewarding experiences have been engaging patients in their care plans through education. Freeman understands that each person and each situation is unique, and by educating her patients on evidence-based practices, she can empower them to be active participants in their health care plan. Outside of work, Freeman enjoys cooking, baking, horseback riding, hiking and spending time outdoors.
