Kathryn Williams, MD

Dr. Kathryn Williams is a double board-certified urogynecologist who specializes in medical and surgical treatments of pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. A North Carolina native, Dr. Williams received her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. After completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2009, Dr. Williams went on to complete a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Northwell Health at Hofstra North Shore - LIJ School of Medicine in New York. After graduating from fellowship in 2016, Dr. Williams joined a private practice in Manhattan and returned to Texas to join Houston Methodist Urogynecology Associates.

Dr. Williams has a background in fine arts with a concentration in sculpture and metalsmithing. Founded on her artistic background, her attention to detail is evident in her patient care and surgical skills. Dr. Williams approaches each patient individually, focuses on their goals and educates patients while providing comfort and reassurance. Whether a patient’s care includes surgical or non-surgical treatment options, Dr. Williams’s goal is to help her patients regain their quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
