I've already told my retiree group how much I admire Michelle Deans! I am not in the medical community but I feel she is the top person in the country to handle AFib. Very satisfied.

I was very encouraged by the responsive scheduling of an appointment with the A Fib Center 2 days after my ER diagnosis. Michelle Deans' explanation of my A Fib diagnosis and review of all the options for treatment were thorough and relatively easy to understand.

The heart and vascular-Atrial Fibrillation Center has been, and still is, caring, professional and outstanding in every way. I did not know I had a heart problem until I fell and was taken to WakeMed Hospital. I am very glad EMS decided to take me to WakeMed for treatment.

There is no better facility in North Carolina than Wake Med Heart and Vascular. We moved to the coast and traveled for five years to continuing to utilize the exceptional services provided for my heart issues. We recently returned to Raleigh in order to be geographically closer to Wake Med. We have found that other hospitals are not equipped with state of the art testing or the knowledgeable doctors and nurses to care for my particular heart needs. My wife and I know we are in good hand with the incredible team we have at Wake Med Heart and Vasular. The addition of the Afib Clinic enhances our team even more.
Everything! The care and concern for my health was outstanding! There was not one thing I would have wanted done differently! The nurse, Barry was extremely thorough in discussing my Afib as was Michelle in discussing the preventive care and what to expect.
EVERY person was excellent from reception to nurse to doctors to trainees: knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, concerned.
