Aarushi Chopra, MD

Dr. Aarushi Chopra is a pediatrician with clinical interests in mental health and wellness, adolescent health and weight management. She began her undergraduate education at New York University in New York City, NY. She went on to a post baccalaureate pre-professional program at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She attended medical school at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, NJ. She then completed her pediatric residency and internship at Nemour’s Children’s Hospital, Wilmington, DE.

Dr. Chopra firmly believes that every child and family deserve to be heard by their health care providers, a philosophy that underpins her approach to pediatric care. Central to her practice is the conviction that effective health care lies in creating a space where patients and families feel safe and comfortable to share their thoughts, concerns and emotions, particularly when it comes to the often-stigmatized issue of mental health. Dr. Chopra makes it her priority to build trust with her patients and their families; this trust is essential for fostering open communication that can lead to better health outcomes. Outside of work, Dr. Chopra loves to travel, cook and spend time with family. She is also a longtime yoga practitioner.
