Abigail (Abby) Coffin, NP

Abby Coffin is dually certified as an adult nurse practitioner and psychiatric nurse practitioner. She has a strong medical background to provide the best care for chronically mentally ill patients, as they often present with multiple medical comorbidities as well as medical issues — often overlooked. Her clinical interests include psychotic disorders, mood disorders and substance abuse disorders.

Coffin has a passion for treating serious, persistent mental illness. She utilizes a collaborative, patient-centered approach to obtain the best possible outcome for the patient. She believes it is important to look to medications as part of a more holistic approach to patient care.

Outside of work, Coffin enjoys spending time with her two children and three dogs. She also enjoys volunteering with a local dog rescue when time allows.
