About Me
Alex is a certified Physician Assistant with a Master of Medical Science from Yale University. With a diverse background in orthopedics, sports medicine, and occupational health, she joined Wake Orthopaedics in May of 2019.
Alex originally hails from Michigan and attended Enloe High School in Raleigh. She graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in athletic training. She has been a certified Athletic Trainer since 2013 and maintains the importance of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and health education throughout her work as a PA.
In addition to her clinical role, Alex is dedicated to community outreach, engaging with local schools to inspire future healthcare professionals through workshops and lectures, as well as mentoring pre-PA students.
When not at work, she enjoys volunteering at an animal rescue for dogs, home improvement projects, and playing and watching sports with her husband.
