Very caring Doctor
Surgical follow up visit for catheter removal. Dr Crane is not my surgeon but my surgeon was on vacation. Entire staff was excellent. Staff that completed my void test and the staff member that taught me to self catheter were both excellent, compassionate and patient.

I had a bladder test scheduled for early in the day, was to return later in the day to see Dr. Crane. She asked if I would mind waiting, and then squeezed me in to see her shortly after my test. I so appreciated that!

Dr Crane is a great urogynecologist. I teust her 100%. She performed my surgery 3 years ago and I felt very well taken care then. I saw Dr Crane now to check the pelvis organs status 3 years after the surgery. D4 Crane is always very thorough with patient examination, and so she has been with me at that visit. It appeares, that my surgery was very well done and 3 years after it all my organs are at their place and everyrhing works well. Thank you, Dr Crane :-). The Team of Wake Med Urogynecology office is friendly and professional - I can say only good things about them. Thank you as well.
Megan was the medical assistant that did my assessment. She was friendly and personable. Definitely an asset to WakeMed. She treated me like I was the only patient that needed care. Everything about my experience with Dr. Crane was outstanding. From my first visit with her, I had complete confidence in her abilities. She explained everything clearly, was kind and compassionate, spent time with me, and was everything I would have wanted a doctor to be. She was reassuring before the surgery and communicated clearly with my daughter post surgery. I experienced numerous unanticipated post surgery complications over a weekend. Dr. Crane was the doctor on call, and she responded to my messages quickly, took my concerns seriously, diagnosed issues accurately, and did everything she could get me comfortable and on the road to recovery as quickly as possible. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful doctor she is! In the midst of all my surgical issues, my daughter ended up having a complicated gynecological surgery need as well. I asked Dr. Crane for help, and within 24 hours she had identified an expert surgeon who could see my daughter and made a referral. So grateful

The nurse and doctor were both very professional, friendly and helpful in explaining my issue and how to resolve it. The doctor personally called me to discuss lab results and next steps.
Dr Crane reviewed my chart before my exam. Before and during the exam she asked questions confirming what was in my chart and pre exam questionnaire. Her physical exam was very thorough. She explained what she was going to do for the exam. After the exam, I was brought to Dr Crane's office. Being fully dressed and in an office rather than half dressed in an exam made me feel respected., Dr Crane used medical photos of my anatomy to show me where and what my physical problems were. She then discussed treatment options and gave me literature to take home to review. She encouraged me to reach out via my chart app if I had further questions. I left feeling I had options as to what the next step in my care would be and supported in my decision.

The scheduler for Dr. Crane‘s office had put me in the wrong schedule slot for me for that day. It was scheduled as an office visit versus a procedure to be done. Dr. Crane worked magic and was able to get my procedure done anyway on that day. She is a really great and caring doctor.

The willingness to care for the patient is appreciated. I would always like to be able to count on the medical services of Dr. Crane, who, by the way, responds quickly, even via email. I have been her patient for over 4 years now and I have no complaints about her. I was surprised to be able to schedule my appointment so quickly because it is no secret that getting these appointments can sometimes take months and that is what makes patients look for other doctors.
The nurse, Mia, who did the prepping was very kind. She let me know every step she was making and working to make sure I was comfortable.
