Everyone that I encountered was very understanding and helpful.
Ashlynn was very attentive, listened carefully to my questions and concerns. She is an excellent patient educator, helping me understand the symptoms I needed to pay attention to at home. She answered my husbands's questions, too, to help him know how to care for me. She took the time with me and I never felt like she was too rushed to listen.

This was my second visit at WakeMed Hope Valley. I had a hard time finding a provider who I felt would listen and take my health seriously. Ashlyn is so attentive and informative. I never feel rushed or disregarded when voicing my concerns and she always makes herself available to contact through MyChart as well. Established care with WakeMed Hope Valley to be able to have her as my provider going forward!

I became ill while visiting from out of town. I did not have a COVID test with me & had been with MANY family members at a wedding. As an elderly woman I wanted to access [RX] early in the illness if COVID + & to advise loved ones of exposure. Terri (?) at the desk was LOVELY on the phone & in person as was the woman who checked me in& took vitals as was the pA who shared results & gave care instructions. I could not have been more pleased & THANKFUL for your availability & these professionals.

I appreciate the quickness and reliability of the practice. I came in as a walk in and was seen in less than 10 minutes. Very fast and even received a referral for my [] on my first visit after trying to get one for years with my usual provider.

Ms. Gruber and the team were so awesome! I love wakemed! They were friendly and listened and explained everything well. I also love that they don't try to prescribe unnecessary medications and show a lot of care for me as their patient.
I am VERY impressed with Ms Gruber! I'm a chronically ill patient since age 8; I've had good and bad and all in between medical staff encounters. Lately, I've DREADED going to any appts because they either take a long time or bad bedside manner or the doctors are just not staying on track on why I am there; but Ms. Gruber was a HUGE breath of fresh air reminding me of years ago when good healthcare was more easily found! Love having her! She's an absolute star and I will be asking for her from now on!

Often you feel like you're invisible when you visit a doctor's office. They don't really look at you (other than to see your condition) and they forget the emotional part of visiting a doctor, like the anxiety a patient might feel when visiting a doctor, not being sure if there is something seriously wrong or if they are fine. I felt seen and heard at this appointment. It was a great experience and I appreciate the time taken by the PA and the nurses.
