Christie Kornegay, PT, DPT

Christie Kornegay is a seasoned physical therapist with over 14 years of experience in direct patient care. Her post-doctoral education has focused on orthopedics, pre and post-operative care, manual therapy, pain science, blood flow restriction training, weight loss, and wellness. She has special training in the McKenzie and Paris approaches to low back dysfunction; balance programs and falls prevention for older adults; and dry needling.

Christie is deeply passionate about helping her patients heal and improve their quality of life. She believes in listening to her patients first, recognizing the importance of their intrinsic knowledge of their own bodies. Christie strives to make therapy an enjoyable, interactive experience, understanding the significant impact mental health has on pain perception and recovery. She is committed to creating a welcoming, vibrant space where her patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their healing journey.

Christie is a Raleigh native and currently resides in Rolesville, NC with her husband and four children. She enjoys music, dancing, swimming, and time outdoors with family and friends.
