Conner Brannan, PA

Conner Brannan is a hospital medicine physician assistant with clinical interests in the relationship between the heart and the kidneys. He deeply values preventative medicine, and his long-term goal is to become a family medicine physician assistant in the small town where he grew up where there are challenges with access to care. Additionally, additionally Brannan has a huge interest in overseas medical missions.

Brannan strives to enter into a patient's most intimate and confusing time from a position of empathy, compassion and knowledge. His goal is to ensure patients truly understand their illness and received appropriate education to prevent further hospitalizations. His hope is to work upstream, so patients can live fruitful and full lives.

Outside of work, Brannan loves fly fishing, running on the Neuse River greenway and exploring with his wife. He lived in Boone, NC for six years after graduating from his undergraduate program and is now addicted to all things outdoors.
