About Me
Erin Walz is a board-certified physician assistant with a clinical interest in orthopaedic surgery. She attended Penn State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and health professions. While completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as an EMT-B and a medical scribe in the Emergency Department. She received her Master of Medical Science from Arcadia University in Christiana, Delaware. She joins WakeMed after working in orthopaedic spine surgery in Washington, D.C.
Erin believes great care stems from effective communication. She strives to listen to each patient and assess their individual needs to create the best plan of care. Outside of work, Erin enjoys Pelotoning and practicing yoga. On the weekends, she enjoys exploring new restaurants with her husband.
