G. Dan Kryder, MD

Dr. G. Dan Kryder is a board-certified internal medicine physician. He practiced medicine for 10 years in Minnesota before relocating with his family to Raleigh to start a new adventure. They are loving every bit of it.

Over the years, Dr. Kryder has been a dedicated primary care physician for patients from age 18 to 106. He cares for patients with many complex medical conditions, including heart disease, diabetes and autoimmune disorders. In Minnesota, he previously served as the chief medical officer for the hospital system and county public health program. He also led as medical director for the local hospice care and nursing home.

Dr. Kryder was born in Connecticut, grew up in Missouri and went to school in California. He earned a bachelor of science in biology and religion at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. He met his wife on the first day of college, and they married in the little chapel on campus on their last day of school. He went on to complete medical school and residency at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO, while his wife earned her doctorate of optometry.

Together, they have three boys whom they keep busy with extracurricular piano, soccer, tennis, football and basketball. In their spare time, they enjoy wake surfing, traveling and cooking up new recipes. Dr. Kryder aims each day to love God and love people well.
