Gwen was very approachable, and direct. She told my mom hard facts that she needed to hear, but in a very compassionate way. I would love for her to be my mom's ongoing doctor!
The front desk staff person was very friendly and professional. She welcome us and got us checked in quickly.
Every single staff member that I interacted with was absolutely excellent. They worked quickly. Were friendly and helpful. And I was pretty worked up and anxious and they were so calm and efficient I left feeling so much better. The woman working at the entrance, I hate I didn't get her name because she took both my anxious phone calls and then when I came in she had already gotten me set up so I was all ready to go. I seriously can't say enough. This location is close to my job but I could see myself going out of my way to come again. I felt genuinely cared about. The doctor listened to me and included me in decisions about my treatment. When I said a medication hadn't worked before she took me seriously. I am so grateful for all of them! They made a normally unpleasant experience turn completely around.
2nd time I have visited this location and very Very pleased with the whole teams ability to comfort and care for my child, including admin team. While we have a regular peds office we will use this location anytime we need to be seen outside of normal hours due to the friendliness of staff.

Not during but days after the visit I contacted Gwen via mychart because my daughter had a bad cough due to the flu which Gwen diagnosed in the office. I wanted to get a prescription for her cough. Gwen responded to my message within minutes and within an hour had sent in a prescription.

I love Wake Med because their doctors are superb. And the care and support and attention Dr Gwen Harris showed exemplified the usual excellence I’ve come to know. She made my annual physical a pleasant experience though I was in pain due to an unrelated work injury.

I have been a patient a number of times. I have confidence in the medical care. I am very impressed with the friendliness of the office.
I was in a lot of pain and I was very sick. The staff was so kind and when my medication wasn’t available at my normal pharmacy, they called in to an alternative. It was close to closing and they could have left it for the next day but they didn’t! I was diagnosed with the flu. My meds were ready that night and now I’m better. I have been a regular because of all the respiratory issues I have had this month. I always leave with a good feeling- the fact someone listened to me and treated me with kindness. All the staff I interacted with is 5 star! I would recommend this office!

The provider and staff were very professional and interested in why I was there. The main receptionist was fantastic dealing with all the patients concerns and working with their question regarding wait times, etc.

The check in process was wonderful! The staff was more than willing to help get you chec in . Did not rush you and helped you rather than insisting you do it yourself!
Care and politeness
After being redirected to the ER for my visit as opposed to continuing treatment at the Urgent Care, Ms. Harris called a few hours later to check in. While I completely forgot to return the call, it is incredibly appreciated that she called to check-in.

Gwen was so amazing! She explained everything to me took her time I never felt she was rushing to get me out. She was so good I switched my PCP to her. All the staff was so kind and friendly. It was especially nice to have such a friendly receptionist. I have had several bad experiences at the Zebulon office with a very rude receptionist. So having someone greet me with a smile and kindness was so refreshing and made me feel more at ease. I am sorry I do not remember her name but she was a pretty blond lady.
