About Me
Jacquelyn Steen is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with clinical interests in newborns and educating new parents as they take on their new role. She received her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing from Duke University School of Nursing in Durham, North Carolina. Steen brings a vast amount of experience in neonatal intensive care and is highly trained in caring for critically ill infants.
Steen focuses on providing safe and evidence-based patient-and-family-centered care while preparing and empowering new parents to care for their newborns as they transition to their home environments. Outside of work, you can find Steen spending time with her husband, their two boys and yellow lab. Together, they love to spend time outdoors and take trips to visit the North Carolina mountains. Steen also enjoys going to concerts, NC State sporting events and traveling.
