Jaskeerat Singh, MD, FACP

Dr. J Singh is board certified in internal medicine and loves his work as a hospitalist. Navigating inpatients through their acute illness and ensuring proper follow ups is his greatest clinical interest. He also has enthusiasm for point of care ultrasound, which helps him make faster medical decisions and feel confident in his medical assessments. He attended medical school at Manipal College of Medical Sciences in Nepal. He went on to complete his residency through Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, MD.

Dr. Singh prioritizes clear communication in his practice. He understands that all patients are unique with their own set of concerns and experiences. He develops an open and welcoming environment, encouraging patients to express themselves fully. This approach not only helps patients articulate their symptoms and concerns but also fosters a trusting relationship between him, those he treats and their families.

At the end of each patient encounter, Dr. Singh invites dialogue asking, “What questions do you have?” This inquiry serves not only as an opportunity for patients to seek clarification about their health and treatment options but also as a moment to reflect on their experiences and any lingering uncertainties. Dr. Singh has, thereby, built a strong rapport with his patients and their loved ones, transforming what could be a simple clinical encounter into a collaborative dialogue to improve health outcomes and enrich the quality of the provider-patient relationship.

Outside of work, Dr. Singh enjoys playing tabla and harmonium, which are traditional Indian instruments. Apart from that, he loves grilling and experimenting with new recipes.
