About Me
Jenna Koster board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in acute and chronic disease management, geriatrics, transitions of care and patient-centered care. She is particularly interested in the critical role that nutrition and exercise play in the prevention and management of acute and chronic diseases. She began her undergraduate education at University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She went on to complete her master’s degree at South University in Savannah, GA.
Koster’s approach to patient care is centered around active listening, collaboration and empathy. She treats patients how she would want herself and her family to be treated. She prioritizes understanding patients’ perspectives to make sure they know they are heard, respected and supported. She focuses on providing clear, comprehensive information so patients can make informed decisions about their treatment options. She empowers patients to be active participants in their own care, while staying grounded in evidence-based medicine.
Outside of work, Koster enjoys spending time with her husband and Bernese mountain dog. She loves exercising, doing Pilates, reading and spending time outside.
