About Me

Jessica C. Revels, RN, FNP, joined WakeMed in 2007 working with cardiology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings as part WakeMed Heart & Vascular. Although cardiology practice remains of huge interest to her, she shifted gears and took a career step towards working on a more prevention side of care. Today, she works with the QUIT With WakeMed, WakeMed's tobacco cessation program. Tobacco played a large part in her life growing up as she watched several family members suffer the consequences of tobacco dependence. It is very rewarding to Jessica to help others break their nicotine dependence and know that they are having a better quality of life as well as improved outcomes.

Jessica is fantastic at keeping you focused on your task of quitting smoking. She encourages you to look how fat you have come and what you can accomplish. I don't think I would have every been able to quit smoking after 40 years but I did it and believe from her encouragement I can to continue to be an x smoker

We was able to reschedule another appointment from our first session which I think it was a good thing. The improvement of me to quit smoking has dropped a little, so I’m feeling satisfied. I’ll drop as much as I can and to I quit so I save my conversation with her was good..
