About Me
Dr. John Sullivan is a board-certified pediatrician who specializes in pediatric critical care medicine.
He earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Sullivan went on to complete his pediatric internship and residency at The New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in New York City and a fellowship in critical care medicine at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Dr. Sullivan did post-fellowship training in critical care at The Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children/University of Sydney (Australia). He received his undergraduate education at Georgetown.
Dr. Sullivan has previously held positions as a pediatric intensivist and an associate professor of clinical pediatrics at both Golisano Children's Hospital/University of Rochester (NY) Medical Center and Janet Weis Children's Hospital/Geisinger Health System in Danville PA. He currently serves as a clinical associate professor of pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine.
In addition to his board certification in pediatric critical care, Dr. Sullivan is certified in pediatric advanced life support and advanced trauma life support.
