Julian Smith, PA

Julian Smith is a physician assistant with more than two decades in the field. He loves orthopaedics because it allows him to perform numerous hands-on repair procedures. A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, Smith most enjoys orthopaedic trauma since it allows him to share in the care of patients who have suffered severe, life-altering, near-death injuries and bring them back to a functional capacity. He finds significant job satisfaction in working with patients with the most acute needs.

Smith takes pride in treating each patient as an individual, not just as a disease, injury or number. He makes it a point to show respect for patients, warmly greeting them and treating them as he would wish to be treated if he were in their situation. Smith also takes time to explain medical issues to patients in lay terms, so they understand their condition and can make informed and collaborative decisions regarding their care.

In his spare time, Smith enjoys doing yard work and helping his wife with her garden.
