About Me
Juliette Parks is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in preventative health maintenance, diabetes management, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity and dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (NCAPA). Parks began her undergraduate education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA. She went on to complete her master’s degree while attending Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC.
Parks believes in a shared decision-making approach to medicine. As a health care provider, her patients’ health is her priority, and she believes that to achieve the best health outcomes providers and patients must collaborate. Open communication ensures patients are informed, understand their treatment plans and succeed in adherence. Ultimately, her goal is to deliver personalized care that considers her patients’ preferences and comfort.
Growing up in Raleigh, Parks has a deep love for the city, and she regularly seeks new, hidden gems. Thus, she enjoys trying new restaurants in the Triangle, attending local exercise classes, spending time outside with friends as well as attending Hurricanes games or local concerts.
