Kathryn Langley, MD

Dr. Kathryn Langley is a board-certified hospital medicine provider with clinical interests in acute inpatient medicine, point of care ultrasound, bedside procedures and medical education. She earned her undergraduate degree through the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She completed medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She finished her residency at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.

Dr. Langley’s goal in caring for patients is to first and foremost be a compassionate listener and a source comfort to patients during the stressful event of a hospital admission. She strives to always better herself and her medical knowledge for the sake of her current and future patients. She focuses on interpersonal connection and communication not only with patients and families but also with other health care providers and medical staff as these connections are what help to bring the best care to the bedside.

Outside of work, Dr. Langley enjoys gardening. Her garden includes fruit, vegetables and cut flowers. She is also fond of painting and other creative outlets.
