About Me
Kayte Kelly is a board-certified family and adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with clinical interests in trauma, acute care, general surgery and emergency medicine as she enjoys high-stress, fast-paced environments. Her passion extends from the initial assessment all through the post-operative recovery phase. She completed her undergraduate education at Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC. She then finished her master’s through University of South Alabama, Mobile, AL.
Kelly’s patient care philosophy is centered in compassion, collaboration and overall well-being. She believes in treating patients as individuals, listening actively to their concerns, and providing care that is both evidence-based and empathetic. Her approach emphasizes trust and rapport, ensuring patients feel heard, respected and supported throughout their health care journey.
She, additionally, strives to empower patients by educating them about their health, treatment options and the importance of self-care, enabling them to make informed decisions. She also collaborates closely with other healthcare professionals, understanding that effective care involves a team effort, and recognize the importance of continuity of care in achieving long-term health outcomes.
Above all, she is committed to providing a safe, comforting and non-judgmental environment where patients feel confident in their care and know that their well-being is her top priority. This philosophy extends beyond medical treatment; She focuses on emotional and psychological support, recognizing that healing is a multifaceted process that requires a whole-person approach.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with family, watching hockey games (Go Canes!), traveling and gardening.
