Lauren Marino, MD

Dr. Lauren Marino is a board-certified, fellowship-trained psychiatrist with clinical interests in chronic and persistent mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder and bipolar disorder as well as the intersections between psychiatry and the law. She is also passionate about medical student education. Dr. Marino earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. She attended medical school at University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. She went on to complete a residency through University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. She focused on forensic psychiatry during her fellowship at Yale University, Division of Law & Psychiatry in New Haven, CT.

Dr. Marino approaches patient care through a biopsychosocial perspective, considering the 'whole person.' Her goal is to collaborate with patients in their treatment to help them achieve the goals that are meaningful to them.  

Outside of work, Dr. Marino enjoys spending time with family, trying new recipes and traveling.
