He earned his undergraduate degree through University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Pratson’s patient care philosophy is grounded in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that prioritizes the well-being of all patients as if they were members of his own family. Dr. Pratson recommends non-operative treatment options before considering surgery. When surgery becomes necessary, he focuses on providing a joint replacement that will not only improve the patient’s quality of life but will also stand the test of time. Dr. Pratson takes pride in being thorough and clear in his explanations, ensuring that patients are fully informed and involved in every step of their care. His approach is to listen carefully, understand each patient’s unique concerns and collaborate with them to develop a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs. In collaboration with his team, Dr. Pratson strives to create a supportive and positive environment where patients feel comfortable, confident and cared for throughout their entire journey.
Outside of work, Dr. Pratson enjoys spending time with his family, cycling (road and mountain) and completing home improvement projects.
