About Me
Dr. Lindsay Boole is an intensivist and pulmonary physician with clinical interests in COPD, asthma, chronic respiratory failure, COVID-19 and other acute pulmonary infections, and post-intensive care syndrome. She earned her medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine-Global Health from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She also completed her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Duke University and is a member of American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society.
Dr. Boole’s practice emphasizes collaboration between doctor and patient in working through a diagnosis and devising a treatment plan. She is passionate about ensuring that her patients understand their disease, and, likewise, that she understands their symptoms and concerns thoroughly. Pulmonary symptoms can be scary for patients and the diagnostic process can be complex, so open, detailed communication and shared goals are Dr. Boole’s priorities.
In her free time, Dr. Boole enjoys spending time, especially outdoors, with her husband and two children. Hiking, swimming, and boating are a few of her favorites.
