Lyndsie Leinen, PA

Lyndsie Leinen is a board-certified physician assistant with clinical interests in surgery and critical care. Leinen is dedicated to working together with her team to continuously make improvements in these specialties. She received her bachelor’s in exercise science from Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee, and master’s in physician assistant studies from South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. Leinen brings experience in trauma and acute care surgery to WakeMed.

Leinen aims to evaluate each patient, both individually and as a whole, treating and managing each patient, while utilizing the most up to date guidelines and recommendations available to perform evidence-based medicine. Leinen strives to continue to better herself as a provider in order to serve her patients to the best of her abilities. Outside of work, you'll find her reading, playing and listening to music, hiking, camping and skiing with her husband.
