About Me
Masha Belaya is a physician assistant with clinical interests in critical care, procedural medicine and palliative care. She holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the College of William and Mary in Raleigh, NC. She received her master of physician assistant studies at Elon University in Elon, NC.
Belaya is dedicated to taking care of critically ill patients with an individualized, evidenced-based approach. In the intensive care unit (ICU), many options are available for treating life-threatening diseases, so it is important to recognize what is best for the patient. Belaya diligently advocates for patients and their families in helping them identify and pursue treatment plans that most align with the patient's long-term goals.
Outside of work, Belaya’s personal interests include playing tennis and pickleball, hiking, traveling, working out, reading, gardening and spending time with her three dogs. Her beloved pets include a Great Dane named Roger, a keeshond and former therapy dog named Loki, a rescue boxer mix named Maisie and her cat named Charlotte.
