Maria Peralta, NP

Maria Peralta is a nurse practitioner in hospital medicine with clinical interests in internal medicine, geriatrics, pulmonary disease and critical care.

Her personal approach to patient care involves educating each patient so that they understand what is going on with their health, and they can make informed decisions about the plan moving forward. Peralta believes the power of knowledge can make a great difference for patients and families and allow them to decide how they would like to proceed with their medical management.

When not at work, Peralta likes to spend time with friends and family. She also loves hiking and travelling.
