Matthew Norman, PA-C

Matthew Norman is a physician assistant with clinical interests in orthopaedics and exercise as medicine. He believes physical fitness is paramount to disease prevention, so he makes it a point of discussion with his patients. Additionally, Norman is interested in diabetes, heart failure management and evidence-based practice. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

Norman’s approach to patient care begins with the idea of health care as a team, with the patient as lead. His philosophy is to be a resource for patients, so they may improve their own lives. He builds strong relationships, making every effort to provide the same care he would provide to friends and family.

When not at work, Norman is an avid golfer and weight trainer. He spent much of his childhood and teen years playing baseball. He continues his love of competitive sports as a huge Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics fan. His family is also very important to him.
