About Me
Michelle Kern is a nurse practitioner with a clinical interest in how dietary decisions influence health and longevity. She earned a bachelor’s degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. She went on to complete an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner degree through Duke University, Durham, NC.
Kern’s patient care philosophy is that each patient has a story to tell, and it is important for health care providers to hear and understand where each person is coming from.
In her spare time, Kern quilts, gardens, spends time with her dogs and volunteers with a local dog rescue as the medical coordinator.
